Dear Marilee,
Over the years, the two different dinosaur-themed, twin-bed-sized quilts with matching pillowcases that you crafted as first birthday gifts for my two little grandnephews have become absolute treasures. The boys, who are now 5 and 2 years old and live in San Antonio, Texas, absolutely love them. The quilts are beautifully vibrant, exceptionally well-made, and have truly become treasured family heirlooms.
Interestingly, instead of using them on their beds as comforters, the boys have opted to display them as wall hangings, which adds incredible texture and visual beauty to their bedrooms. Their parents mentioned that they get so many compliments and inquiries about the backstory of the quilts, as well as about you—our very talented artist, craftswoman, and quilter friend from northern New Mexico.
